Our Benefits

Creative Youth Network fully recognises its responsibilities for creating a working culture which supports positive mental health and wellbeing, challenges stigma, embraces lived experience and takes proactive responsible adjustments to support long term mental health problems.

Wellbeing

As part of our commitment to mental health at work, we run a number of initiatives to ensure our staff team feels supported. Why Mental Health Commitment at Work? We wanted to find a trusted wellbeing approach, not just a series of initiatives…so we adopted and signed up to Mental Health Commitment at work, developed with the knowledge and expertise of mental health charities, leading employers and trade organisations.

In May 2024 we launched our new Wellbeing policy. Staff can find all of our documents and resources in our online Wellbeing Hub, with updates shared regularly.

Mental Health First Aiders

We are actively inducting more staff to become mental health first aiders. These roles are essential in to helping boost and maintain employee wellbeing, and are there to look out for fellow colleagues in the same way that any other first aider would.

Staff Meetings

The topic of mental health at work receives periodic focus at our all staff meetings. We’ll engage with ‘temperature checks’ and activities that put wellbeing at the heart of our discussions.

‘Return to work’ Arrangements

Designed on a bespoke basis and may include occupational health and Access to Work support.

Staff Socials

Each year we hold a summer and festive social, a chance for staff to switch off from work and socialise with colleagues across the organisation.

Key benefits

But that’s not all – joining us at Creative Youth Network, you’ll have access to key benefits such as:

33 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays) per year pro rata

Excellent family friendly policies

A generous pension scheme

A cycle to work scheme

Paid breaks

Fantastic development opportunities

Employee Assistance Programme

Virtual GP consultation and medical advice service

Depending on the role, you could be based at either our central office at The Station, or in Kingswood. We also offer flexible working, so opportunities for hybrid working are available.

Youth voice

We aim to embed youth voice across the organisation and in decision-making processes to ensure our work reflects what young people want to see, and offers the support they need.

“It is very clear that young people feel valued and heard. Your dedication to driving positive change and creating a more inclusive and equitable society for young people is one to be cherished. May you continue to change young people’s lives through your outstanding meaningful work and delivery.”
