This is one of our FREE Creative Courses, which offer opportunities to get creative with different creative techniques. If you’re interested in creating music, singing, playing instruments, rapping or writing songs come and join our weekly Music Session

There is one session a week for 10 weeks, in line with the school terms (but no session in half term). In 2026 the courses begin on 14th January, 29th April, and 23rd September.

Our sessions are for a maximum of 10 young people meaning they are friendly and supported, with lots of time and space for you to try out a new creative skill or develop an existing passion.There will be a chance to try anything music related from writing the next pop song to recording instruments and jamming in a band.

At the end of term we will have a showcase performance for you to share the music you’ve been working on, if you feel ready. There will be also an opportunity to achieve a Bronze Arts Award qualification.

This course is for anyone aged 11-16 year olds.
