Young People at The Station
The Station is more than a youth centre. It is a safe space and hive of activity for young people: a welcoming place that brings together young people aged 11-25 from across the city and beyond. Find us in Bristol’s City Centre.
What is The Station?
If you are between 11-25, you can come to The Station to hang out, try new things and make connections. You can simply ‘be’ in a safe space, free of judgement, or we can be one stop on your way to trying something new. Visit us to build your skills, grow your confidence, explore your creativity and access specialised support. You can just drop in and talk to our friendly team, visit the cafe or look at our events and activities for young people below.
Wherever you are on your journey, the Station can help you get to where you want to be.
What happens at The Station?
There’s something happening every week night at The Station for young people from all across Bristol and beyond. Young people can make new creative work through our programmes, come alone or with friends to our youth sessions and access FREE courses to develop skills.
At The Station young people are respected, listened to and welcomed. If you have ideas and opinions and are tired of being ignored then you’re welcome here! We offer somewhere for young people to connect with each other, in a setting that encourages them to find common ground or come together over activities they choose. You will also have a say in how our sessions are run and how our spaces look and feel.
Most importantly, The Station is a safe space for all young people. If you are in central Bristol any weekday from 9am-9pm and you need somewhere to go, or if you feel hopeless or in need of support, then drop by and talk with our friendly team. We’re ready!

What can I do?
Our youth clubs, sessions and events run every night at The Station, with drop in sessions for everyone on a Tuesday or Friday. We also have sessions for specific communities of young people, such as those identifying as LGBTQIA+ or those who are refugee and asylum seekers. And if you want to talk to a youth worker about what’s going on for you, just drop by every weekday between 2-8pm.
We can help with:
- Support for a wide range of problems, such as wellbeing, bullying, addictions to name a few.
- FREE courses and activities for learning new things and developing confidence
- Practical advice to help you find and succeed at school, college, jobs or training
- FREE use of music studios, our chill out space, and much more!
