What Is The Theatre Making Course?
This is one of our FREE Creative Courses, which offer opportunities to get creative with different creative techniques. Have you ever wondered how to make your own theatre show? We will explore different skills in making theatre and guide you in how to create your own world and transport it to the stage. Whether you have an interest in performing, directing or something behind the scenes, this course will allow you to explore all the areas of theatre-making, and what goes in to putting a show together.
How Does It Work?
There is one session a week for 10 weeks, in line with the school terms (but no session in half term). Our sessions are for a maximum of 10 young people meaning they are friendly and supported, with lots of time and space for you to try out a new creative skill or develop an existing passion.
Once you have completed the course, there will be a showcase/ exhibition of the work we have put together (not necessarily just performing!) This will all go towards you completing the Bronze Level Arts Award qualification.
Who Is It For?
This course is for 13-19 year olds base din or near Emersons Green. All abilities are welcome
