Sessions and Support for Young People who are Refugee and Asylum Seekers
If you’re a young refugee or asylum-seeker, we have regular sessions and support from our experienced, friendly team.
What is it?
We offer a space for people who are relatively new to the UK to connect with others in the same situation. Our youth sessions are relaxed, friendly and fun – run by experienced youth workers with a range of different skills and experiences. Whatever challenges you might face when adjusting to life in a new country – learning a language, settling into school or college, and integrating into another country’s ways of life – we can support you.
How does it work?
Our youth team host regular sessions in central Bristol. We have lots to do including table tennis, a football table, Playstation, a pool table, and we cook together and provide free food for everyone that comes. In our sessions you can meet new people, improve your English, access support and advice, and get your voice heard. Sometimes we also go on trips to help you get to know the local area.

Who is it for?
These sessions are for young people who are refugee and asylum seekers and aged 13-19. Many young people who come to our sessions have made journeys to the UK alone.
