Welcome Thursday

Our Welcome Sessions are a dedicated space for people who are relatively new to the UK and our city. We offer a safe space where you can relax and take part in activities. It is also the perfect place to find out about other activities we offer at Creative Youth Network, join other groups and find out how we can support you – from issues with housing to improving your English.

There is no need to book – just come along. Our youth space is the perfect place to hang out with table tennis, a football table, Playstation, a pool table and music. In our sessions you can meet new people, improve your English and hang out with friends, old and new. Each week we cook together and eat a hot meal together.

These sessions are for young people who are refugee and asylum seekers and aged 13-19. Many young people who come to our sessions have made journeys to the UK alone.
